I was there. Who is Freedomworks? I don’t think anyone was running this event officially. Yet there was not chaos, and no need for SEIU thugs like there are at every liberal rent-a-protestor riot that you see over publicised on MSM. Obama ignores this, meanwhile the liberal media demanded for months that Cindy Sheehan, one sad pathetic individual, get a personal sit down with Bush just because she stood by the road with five other jobless “non-contributes”. Hmm, no double standard here, main stream media. I guess we see why you’re fast going belly up.

Great job Patriots! I enjoyed meeting many of you!

I was at the Washington march on September 12th. It was the most uplifting thing I have ever experienced. We went to a sign making party on Friday night at the Hyatt and didn’t know what to expect. When we got there we were amazed to see how many folks were sitting on the floor and at tables making signs for the rally. (We didn’t have to ask for directions to the room you could smell the markers) I felt so encouraged to see how many folks made the trip. On Saturday morning we grabbed a cab and headed to Freedom Plaza for the meet up at 9:00am. As we got closer and closer we saw droves of people walking down both sides of the street and thought wow! Then we started walking too and were just blown away to see the massive amount of people. It gave me goose bumps. We saw people of every color, from every state, every age. We were there all day and walked all over the area and did not see one person being rude or disrespectful. Everyone seemed to be glad to be there and it really felt like a HUGE family. Imagine being in that crowd with everyone singing the Star Spangled Banner and saying the pledge. Awesome does not begin to describe the scene. I am so proud, so proud and more determined than ever. Folks we have each other and the passion of patriots. We have spirit and heart and we are determined to stand in front of those that would take our freedoms and distort our intent. We must stand tall and firm and never falter. On the front of a building we passed as we marched on the way to the Capitol building was engraved these words –

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

This is so terrific. I want the rest of you, American’s who were’nt to step up too.
Know that we, in Europe are beside you all the way !! Don’t aprove bill HR3200. That includes: death panels, mandatory abbortions and mandatory RIFD-chipping. Barak Obama is not the Messiah, he is Satan in the flesh.

Ryan, I thought the same thing about the Obama Healthcare Rally. Totally intentional and dirty politics if you ask me. They knew we were coming to DC for 6 months! Then they plan to take the president to another state entirely and have more healthcare speeches for the 1,000th time! It is offensive that Obama couldn’t be bothered to stick around Washington on 9/12 when millions of the American people showed up to send him a message. And millions upon millions more were watching and gathering in other states.

I am sick of these thugs and manipulators, and I can’t wait until people vote out all the corrupt suits that we can in 2010 and 2012. I just hope we keep it up. I hope the numbers grow, and we get louder until they can’t ignore us.

Stacy… Way to point out Gibbs as the liar and creepy propagandist he is! Not aware? I am sure they were not only aware, but planned the Minnesota Health Care rally at almost the EXACT SAME TIME and duration of the D.C. rally on purpose. All done in order to direct THEIR media AND the people, and to PRODUCE a story for the newspapers to put way above the D.C. events on their front pages. Just so the papers can ignore us, once again, and have a “valid” reason! Guess what… 15,000 people showed up to the Minnesota rally to listen to Obama say the same things he has said for 6 months. That’s .75% of the people that were in Washington! .75%! Guess which story was ALL OVER the “news” channels today for hours, while the streets of D.C. were filled with the biggest story of the day by far??? We expected this media treatment and it happened! Stop believing the fake news! We DO surround them!

God Bless America and God save the Liberty and Freedom he and The Constitution naturally bestows on all of us.

To Wayoff and all doubters… For every one of the 2 MILLION people that were there, many more wanted to and couldn’t. D.C. would not have room for us all anyway! I know where you got 30,000 from. That was the number of people that checked the “attending” button at the Freedomworks website, as reported before the rally EVEN STARTED OR ASSEMBLED by The Washington Post. See how well the media covered this???? You trust them? How can the Wash Post have a count without the event even occurring yet? THIS SHOWS that Freedomworks WAS NOT the leader of the day and the alleged astro-turf leaders of us all, and that many hundreds of thousands of people showed up that don’t even know what Freedomworks is! This was real. This is the re-founding of our Republic!

Proof of the 2 million estimate (Look at the indisputable facts):

1.2 million is the estimate from D.C. Metro police:

They only oversee the small radius of area around Metro stations. I lived and worked in D.C. for 5 years and I know that doesn’t cover much area to count and they still estimate 1.2 mil.

1.5 million is the estimate from The U.S. Department of Parks & Recreation:

They ONLY estimated those on PARK LAND where they have domain! Not the 100,000’s on the non-park streets they weren’t present to see! They only have domain over U.S. PARK LAND and that was barely 50% of the grounds stood on by the rally attendees.

Proof it may be over 2 million and is certainly over 1.5 million!:

D.C. hasn’t seen this many people since the 1960’s, and I dare say it rivals and possibly eclipses Obama’s Inauguration, MLK’s speech and various D.C. rallies in the past!!!!!!!!!! It certainly outnumbered the Million Man and Million Mom marches!

It’s real and it’s never going to stop growing until we get our country back and restore The Constitution! The media can’t lie, call us names and belittle us… but it only gives us more motivation. KEEP IT UP! At least we know we are 100% correct in saying that 99% of journalism is DEAD and lives to please Obama and Socialist Progressives only!
