Take a look at this chart…now… I am no expert on economics but this chart seems to break it down pretty simply. What do you think? Does the amount of Government spending (OUR MONEY) affect the unemployment rate?
The type of spending obviously makes a difference. Take a look specificly at the periods from 1965 to 1974, and 1983 to 1988 and 2003 to 2009. It isn’t just a matter the direction of spending, see when spending went down while unemployment went up in 1970 to 1974. It is more a matter of what the money is pent on. So *who has the check book* is important.
